In Valparaíso, on June 21, mining experts and professionals met at the School of Engineering of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso to participate in a workshop organized by the Chilean Society of Rock Mechanics. The event brought together geotechnical engineers, geologists and representatives from leading mining companies to discuss geotechnical risks in the industry. Topics such as slope stability and risk management technologies were addressed, highlighting case studies and innovative strategies. The workshop concluded with fruitful exchanges and the promotion of safer and more efficient practices in mining.
